Synchronized Swimming Fun Facts!

What is known today as synchronized swimming was formerly called "scientific swimming", "ornamental swimming" or "water ballet"

Underwater speakers allow swimmers to hear the music and stay synchronized when performing moves upside-down and under water. [kid video asking ?]

During a competition routine, synchronized swimmers typically have to hold their breath for an average of 30 seconds while executing fast-paced movements...

In order to perfect any routine in the water, synchronized swimmers must also practice their routine on land! [short video of land-drilling]

When swimming a routine In competition, the athletes are not allowed to wear swim caps or goggles.
